Scarborough Rennaissance Festival
Tuesday, April 28
The Art Club and Art classes will be attending the Scarborough Faire Rennsaissance Festival Tuesday, April 28! Attendence is $20.00 and must be brought to Mrs. Wiley before Tuesday, April 20 along with a completed permission slip. Bring money for breakfast and lunch. We will be stopping at McDonald's for breakfast. There are many shoppes in the faire, so it is wise to bring spending money as well.
You must be passing all of your classes and have participated in three Art projects to be able to attend.

Rams Parents In Action
Monday, April 13
It recently came to our attention that all clubs and organizations are excpected to set up and run a booth at the Rams Parents In Action on Monday, April 13. The event is expected to last for approximately two hours. More information soon!
The Three Cabritos
April 9-April 25
A few advanced Spanish students are acting in a Cinco de Mayo play, "The Three Cabritos" at the Mineral Wells High School auditorium on April 27. Art Club members are encouraged to participate in the creation of decorations for the set. Please come by after school to Mrs. Wiley's room to work. This is worth multiple project points.
Destination Downtown, Mineral Wells Logo
As you are probably aware, our monumental Baker Hotel is beginning its early stages of rennovation this year! But you may not be aware that our downtown area is to be reshaped into "a destination area for both locals and visitors". The Institute of Urban Studies has asked for our students to design a logo symbolizing this goal and for us to think about ways that this goal might be reached.

End-of-the-Year Field Trip
Members are encouraged to research and present End-of-the-Year Field Trip destinations at a future meeting. Some considered destinations are: NRH2O and Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Wax Museum.
